Peak-Fit HQ!

Note: This web-site is still currently being re-updated! (Updates will be announced after I add a «Latest-Updates» section to this web-site)
Dear friend!

Welcome to Peak-Fit HQ where you can find more information (and video-samples) on Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu and Shyun-Style Tai Chi Chuan!

Let's begin with the Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu System; Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu became a whole entire comprehensive-system of many of the most time-tested and field-tested combat-techniques over many centuries of refinement, starting with the founding father & patriarch of all Praying Mantis Kung Fu styles, Wong Long (sometimes also written or spelled as Wang Lang). This might sound like a «legendary» claim (they are deemed to be «folklore» after all), and, yes, the «stories» and «histories» involving the martial arts, especially those that originate out of China, certainly do sound very legendary! One of those very legendary sounding claims is the fact that our grand-master has fought against 100 people (all full-grown adults)... simultaneously and won! How then can or are we supposed to believe any of these seemingly impossible sounding claims?

A few ways do exist to at least be able to verify certain information(s). Traditionally, one would look for «historic-records» and do all of that «historian» stuff in order to determine the historical-validity of any particular claim(s) that was/were made by any particular source(s), however, just like religions have their biases in insisting that their «narrative» about some «legendary» figure(s) is definitely historically accurate (whether be it about some man having walked on water or turned water into wine, some man who journeyed from Mecca to Jerusalem then ascending into the heavens, some man who healed the sick and achieved enlightenment under the Bodhi-Tree, etc.), the same thing apparently happens in all other forms of history, whether that «history» comes from a martial arts style or lineage or even your own government! Fortunately, this modern-day and age allows us to be able to learn the truth about what really happened back in the past through the Blind-Protocols of Advanced Scientific Remote-Viewing, but, that is currently beyond what I really need to cover here, for now.

Not to digress, but, IF you are interested in learning about what ASRV entails, and, how to do it yourself, make sure to visit FarSight.org and/or KuwindaCorp.com.

Alright, nice, with all that being said, Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu is a «system» (not just a style) that incorporates all ranges of moves and techniques; what is the difference between a «style» and a system? Examples of styles would be things like boxing where the primary focus and emphasis is primarily on punching and some foot-works or wrestling where the emphasis is primarily on take-downs and throwing techniques or Tae Kwon Do where the primary emphasis is mainly on kicking techniques or Jiujitsu where the primary emphasis is on joint-locks & submission-holds or Hapkido where the primary emphasis is on joint-locks as well as joint-breaks or Aikido where its primary emphasis is on joint-throws.

With the modern-day and age, you can already find various samples and examples of style-techniques for many of the more well-known styles of martial arts on-line, but, Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu had been kept a well-protected secret until Grand-Master Shyun Kwon Long (or Shyun Guan Long), better-known as James Sun at the united States of America, decided to make its system open & available to the public for learning & training & practice; this actually breaks with traditional Chinese Kung Fu protocol where such high-level martial arts systems were actually kept secret from any non-Chinese, and, even then, the Kung Fu Masters were still historically secretive about their martial arts knowledge even amongst other Chinese since the Chinese government has historically been known to be rife with corruption, and, many a wise master and grand-master did not want to have any part of putting a target over their heads by government-officials who, according to not just folk-lore and legends, made active-efforts to get rid of anybody and everybody who was deemed to be a so-called kung fu master or grand-master (this is in many ways similar to how Western-governments have labelled the so-called «sovereign-citizens» as dangerous-terrorists for also similar reasons).

Anyway, not to be overly dramatic, nor, get into a detailed history lesson, you are probably wondering what Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu entails, and, I have a few video-clips that demonstrate some of the techniques that exist within the Eight-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu System. Feel free to watch them below before we continue...

Until I can back to re-updating this web-site, if you have any questions, you can call 605.202.5995 or 605.661.5000 or send me an e-mail at Cercle.Sifu@PeakFitHQ.com

Also, although I will continue to be available at the Gym during Week-Day Evenings (and Saturday Mornings) for the rest of the month of October 2024CE, any classes and personal-sessions until January 2025CE will be by appointment-only. Tuition-Fees will be by Punch-Cards to keep things simple; 160$US per Standard Punch-Card which will be good for Eight (8) classes per Punch-Card and 560$US per Gold-System Punch-Card (Note: For those who wish to train at the Gold-System Levels there is a minimum physical-fitness requirement before I will sell any Gold-System Punch-Cards; the Gold-System is a very demanding level-of-training so it is highly recommended that you are first able to easily able to do the equivalent of at least 100 half-push-ups in a row before trying to go through this programme which is reserved for the truly dedicated practitioners of the art).

Information about Shyun-Style Tai Chi Chuan to be added in a future-update...

P.S: The Peak Training Center is located at 403 North River Street, Hot Springs, South Dakota [57747-1482]. To get to the Peak Training Center, if you know where the China Wok restaurant is located, turn to your right while facing the restaurant, then follow the side-walk until you see a black-coloured garage-door on the left which should be right next to the Art-Museum; if you've walked past the Hair-Salon then you've walked too far.
